TotalBoat Penetrating Epoxy for wood rot works by stopping active rot, gluing and strengthening wood fibers, and sealing porous wood from the inside out. By curing a little slower, it is able to saturate wood more deeply than 5:1 epoxy resins. Once cured, it is 100% waterproof. You can apply it with a brush, roller, or syringe. To saturate the wood even deeper, you can add acetone to increase the penetrating and restoration power. After light sanding, you can paint or varnish over the cured epoxy.
