PC-Rot Terminator is a structural wood hardener designed to strengthen decayed or rotted wood. This low-viscosity liquid penetrates porous surfaces, filling and sealing voids with an epoxy that cures into a hard yet durable component. It is useful for replacing missing wood fibers or resin, binding the wood fibers together and enhancing their strength in combination with the epoxy elastomer.

The product contains 100% active ingredients, without solvents that could evaporate and cause shrinkage. The cure rate is faster in thicker sections compared to thin sections, and it can be accelerated using a light bulb or other gentle heat source. The cure rate is halved for every 20-degree Fahrenheit increase.

After the initial 24-hour cure, users can fill in any missing pieces with PC Woody paste epoxy. One 24-ounce unit can seal 50 to 100 square feet of deck as a sealer, or treat 500 to 2500 cubic inches of severely rotted wood, depending on the porosity of the wood. Damp wood with high water content may not accept the maximum amount of the mixture, as PC-Rot Terminator cannot displace water in the wood.

The product offers a 60-minute work time, a 12-hour thin film set, and a 24-hour cure for service, with a maximum cure of 7 days. It boasts impressive physical properties, including a compressive modulus of 230,000 psi, a compressive yield strength of 6,500 psi, a tensile strength of 4,500 psi, a tensile modulus of 210,000 psi, a tensile elongation at break of 12%, a flexural strength of 9,500 psi, a flexural modulus of 300,000 psi, a Hardness Shore D of 78, and a mar resistance of 1.05 Kg.
